Locustville Pond / Morning Fog

Welcome to the Locustville Pond Improvement Association (LPIA) website!  Locustville Pond is located in the heart of South County, Rhode Island, in the lovely town of Hopkinton. The pond originated in 1814 by the damming of the Brushy Brook, and
the LPIA was created in 1955.

Locustville Pond is used for recreation, including swimming, fishing, and boating, as well as hydroelectric power purposes.

So enjoy the pond - but remember - treat the pond and all its inhabitants with respect!
